For all those who bought their tickets online via Reservix, your ticket provider will contact you directly. We would love to invite you to our regular online concerts.
Ludwig van Beethoven's symphonic works are undoubtedly one of the highlights of classical music. We are celebrating the jubilarian of the year 2020 now with a performance of his brilliant 6th Symphony, which was first performed in Vienna in 1808 - with surprisingly five movements instead of the usual four movements - and which opened a great window for the emerging era of Romanticism. Hector Berlioz even called this symphony "the most beautiful of Beethoven's compositions". We will play the symphony as an online concert from the Hercules Hall in the Munich Residence. At the beginning of the concert we will present the overture to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera seria "La clemenza di Tito," composed only twenty years earlier.
Program:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Ouvertüre zu "La clemenza di Tito", KV 621
Ludwig van Beethoven: Sinfonie Nr. 6 F-Dur, op. 68, "Pastorale"
Conductor: Franz Schottky
